Ashwagandha is a type of plant which grows in parts of Asia. Extracts from its root are used for a number of purposes, but particularly to help nourish the mind and aid relaxation.

Some of the active components in ashwagandha root are called withanolides. These natural substances are thought to give ashwagandha root extracts adaptogenic properties, meaning they may help the body modulate its response to stress. One vegetarian capsules have been specifically formulated using extracts of ashwagandha root that contain effective levels of withanolides.
Nutritional information: Each vegetarian capsule contains 500mg of Ashwagandha extract with minimum 37.5mg or 7.5% withanolides.
